Make your lunch special by adding apple, cheddar and Maple Leaf® Flakes of Chicken to your sandwich

Ingredients


  • 1  (5.5 oz/156 g can) Maple Leaf® Flakes of Chicken (drained and flaked)
  • .5 cup (125 mL) diced apple
  • .5 cup (125 mL) shredded cheddar cheese
  • .25 cup (50 mL) finely chopped celery
  • .25 cup (50 mL) finely chopped walnuts
  • .25 cup (50 mL) mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) lemon juice
  •  freshly ground pepper, to taste
  • 8  slices Dempster's® WholeGrainsTM 12 Grain Bread
  •  lettuce

Directions


COMBINE chicken with all the ingredients, except bread and lettuce, in a bowl and toss to coat evenly. PLACE lettuce on 4 bread slices. TOP each with ¼ of chicken mixture and remaining bread slices
