Avocado and sprouts add a healthy twist to a classic BLT.

Ingredients


  • 4 slices Dempster’s ® 100% Whole Grain Multigrain bread, toasted
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) low-fat mayonnaise
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/4 avocado, pitted, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) alfalfa sprouts
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked

Directions


Spread mayonnaise over 2 slices of bread; layer tomato, avocado, al-falfa sprouts and bacon over top. Cap with remaining bread.
