Place Dempster’s® White Bread slices on a lined bake sheet. Spread each piece of bread with almond butter and top alternating slices with sliced banana. Sandwich together and dip in a mixture of eggs, milk, honey and cinnamon. Place French toast on a preheated sprayed bake sheet and pop it into a hot oven, turning once until French toast is golden and puffy. Serve with your favourite syrup.

  • 2 slices Dempster’s® 100% White Bread
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) almond butter
  • 3 bananas, sliced
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) milk
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) honey
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) ground cinnamon
  • Maple syrup, for serving


Preheat oven to 350˚F (180˚C).
Spread almond butter over 6 slices of bread.
Top with banana slices and cap with remaining bread.
Set aside.
In shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, honey and cinnamon; dip sandwiches in egg mixture.
Place on greased baking sheet.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, turning once halfway through cooking time or until golden brown and puffy.
Serve with maple syrup.
