- 2 Dempster’s® 100% Whole Wheat 10” tortillas
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) prepared basil pesto
- 1 cup (250 mL) shredded cooked chicken
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) shredded Italian cheese blend
Spread pesto evenly along centre of each tortilla, leaving a small border at each end. Top with chicken and cheese. Fold up bottom of tortilla over filling, then fold in sides and roll up tightly.
Heat panini press according to manufacturer’s instructions; heat for 3 to 5 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
Tip: Alternatively, brush tortillas with oil and bake on parchment paper¬–lined baking sheet in preheated 400°F (200°C) oven for about 10 minutes or until tortillas are golden and cheese is melted.
