INGREDIENTS
- 2 Dempster’s® Original Medium Tortillas
- 1 Green Apple, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp Butter, divided
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 cup Nut Butter (Almond, Peanut, or Nut-Free Alternative)
- 1/2 cup Granola
- 1/4 cup Toasted Coconut Chips (optional)
- 3 tbsp Strawberry Jam
DIRECTIONS
- In a large non-stick skillet, heat half the butter over medium-high heat. Sauté the apples for 1 minute, then add the sugar and cinnamon. Reduce heat and cook for 1-2 minutes until apples are tender-crisp, stirring occasionally. Transfer to a bowl and carefully wipe out the pan.
- Place two tortillas on a cutting board and spread half with nut butter. Add cooked apples, then top with granola and coconut chips, if using. Fold over the tortilla.
- Heat the same skillet over medium-high heat. Add the butter and cook for 2 minutes per side until golden brown. Fold over again.
- In a small microwaveable dish, add jam and 1 tbsp water. Microwave for a few seconds, then stir until combined. Drizzle over the quesadilla.
