- 1 Plain Bagel, split
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) basil pesto
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) shredded 4 Italian cheese blend
- 4 fresh basil leaves, slices (optional)
Preheat broiler on high. Top each bagel half evenly with pesto and cheeses.
Place on foil lined baking sheet. Broil for 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese melts. Garnish with fresh basil if using.
Tip: Use a pre-packaged Italian cheese blend or try a mix of mozzarella, fontina, provolone and Parmesan cheese.
