Create this yummy pineapple and cheese sandwich that will make the perfect refreshing and sweet lunchtime meal on a hot summer day.

  • 1  (14 oz/398 g) Can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup (250 mL) Grated Cheddar cheese
  • .25 cup (60 mL) Mayonnaise or whipped salad dressing
  • 6  Slices Dempster’s® Stays Fresh® White Bread
  • 3  Leaves green leaf lettuce


STIR first three ingredients together in a small bowl. Divide mixture between three slices of bread, top with lettuce and remaining slices of bread.
