Here’s a great make-ahead grab-and-go breakfast for mornings on-the-run or a snack any time.

  • 2 Dempster’s® Maple French Toast Bagels, split and toasted
  • 2 eggs
  • Pinch each salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) butter
  • 2 slices ham
  • 2 slices Cheddar cheese
  • Maple Syrup and Sriracha Hot Sauce:
  • 3 tbsp (45 mL) maple syrup
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) sriracha hot sauce


Whisk together eggs, salt and pepper. Heat butter in nonstick skillet set over medium heat; pour in egg mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, for about 5 minutes or until soft curds form and eggs are set. Let cool completely.

Place 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of cheese on bottom half of each bagel. Top with scrambled eggs. Cap with bagel tops. Wrap each bagel sandwich in foil; refrigerate overnight.

Maple Syrup and Sriracha Hot Sauce: Mix together maple syrup and sriracha.

To reheat: Preheat oven or toaster oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake for 10 minutes or until heated through. Serve with maple syrup and sriracha sauce for dipping.

Tip: Sandwiches can be frozen for up to 2 weeks. Increase reheating time to 30 minutes.
