Lighten up lunchtime with this Quick & Easy Veggie Snack Wrap. Featuring a tasty blend of veggies and hummus wrapped up in Dempster’s® Ancient Grains Medium Tortillas, they make fresh and flavourful snacking options. To keep things interesting, mix it up with a variety of ready-prepared dips, spreads and vegetables. Serves 2.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 Dempster’s® Ancient Grains Medium Tortillas
- 2 Pieces leaf lettuce
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) Hummus
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) Shredded carrot
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) Thinly sliced cucumber
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) Sliced roasted red peppers, drained on paper towel
DIRECTIONS
- PLACE a piece of lettuce in the center of each tortilla.
- TOP lettuce with hummus, carrot, cucumber and roasted red peppers. Fold in one edge of tortilla and roll up to serve.
Tip: Try using other ready prepared dips/spreads and different vegetables for a completely new flavor profile.
