French Toast Roll-Ups

French Toast Roll Ups are the ultimate dippable breakfast treat. Delicious Dempster’s® White Bread is packed with peanut butter and jam and then rolled up into a cinnamon-and-sugar coated French Toast roll. For added decadence, top with maple sugar. Serves four.

  • 8  Slices Dempster’s® White Bread
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) Smooth peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) Raspberry jam
  • 4  Eggs
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) Milk
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) Cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup (80 mL) Sugar
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) Vegetable oil


  1. ROLL each slice of bread to a ¼- 1/8 " thickness using a rolling pin. Spread each with peanut butter then jam. Roll each piece of bread from top to bottom as tightly as possible.
  2. WHISK together eggs and milk in a shallow bowl.
  3. HEAT oil in a large non-stick skillet over low. Dip each bread roll into the egg mixture and place in the pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown. Combine cinnamon and sugar in a shallow bowl. Place each roll in the mixture and toss to coat. Serve with maple syrup if desired.

Tip: Use your favourite jam.
