INGREDIENTS

  • 4 Dempster's® Original 7" Tortillas
  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) strawberry jam
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) melted butter

DIRECTIONS

  1. Stir cream cheese with jam. Spread evenly over one side of two tortillas, leaving 1-inch (2.5 cm) border all around. Cap with remaining tortillas; brush outer sides of tortillas with melted butter.
  2. Preheat waffle maker according to manufacturer's instructions. Press each sandwich in waffle maker for about 5 minutes or until golden brown.

Tip: Serve with maple syrup if desired.
