In this recipe, Dempster’s® 100% Whole Grains Ancient Grains with Quinoa Bread serves as the perfect base for your favourite baba ghanoush spread. Add a sprinkle of hemp seeds and you're good to go. INGREDIENTS
- 4 slices Dempster’s® 100% Whole Grains Ancient Grains with Quinoa Bread, toasted
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) prepared baba ganoush
- 2 medium heirloom tomatoes, sliced
- Pinch each salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) hemp seeds
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Spread baba ganoush over each slice of toast.
- Top with tomato slices, overlapping slightly.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Transfer to baking sheet.
- Bake for 3 to 5 minutes or just until warmed through.
- Sprinkle with hemp seeds.
