INGREDIENTS

  • 4 slices Dempster’s® 100% Whole Grains Ancient Grains with Quinoa Bread, toasted
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) prepared baba ganoush
  • 2 medium heirloom tomatoes, sliced
  • Pinch each salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) hemp seeds

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Spread baba ganoush over each slice of toast.
  3. Top with tomato slices, overlapping slightly.
  4. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer to baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 3 to 5 minutes or just until warmed through.
  7. Sprinkle with hemp seeds.
