Zesty Fish Tacos are a delicious addition to your everyday meal lineup. Featuring flakey seasoned fish and crisp veggies wrapped up in Dempster’s® 100% Whole Wheat 7'' Tortillas, they're full of fresh and satisfying flavour. Turn up the heat by drizzling each tasty taco with your favourite hot sauce. Serves two.

  • 4 Dempster’s® 100% Whole Wheat 7'' Tortillas, warmed
  • 1/2 lb (225g) Halibut, cod or tilapia fillets
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) Cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) Oil, divided
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) Shredded green cabbage
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) Sliced radishes
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) Frozen corn niblets, thawed
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) Sliced green onion
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) Chopped cilantro
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) Lime juice


  1. SEASON fish with cayenne pepper.
  2. HEAT half of the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook fish until golden, opaque and flakes with a fork, about 3 minutes per side. COMBINE cabbage, radishes, corn, green onion, cilantro, lime juice and remaining oil.
  3. DIVIDE vegetable mixture between warmed tortillas and top with fish. Fold in half to serve.
