INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Package Dempster's® Deluxe White Hamburger Buns (8)
  • 2 lbs (1 Kg) peameal bacon slices (about 1/8 inch slices)
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) grainy mustard
  • 8 thick slices Cheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat; grease grate well. Grill peameal bacon for 1 to 2 minutes per side or until grill-marked. Baste with maple syrup and cook for 1 minute until glazed.
  2. Assemble slices in buns with grainy mustard and Cheddar cheese.
  3. If serving for less people, divide accordingly.
