Lighten up lunchtime with this Quick & Easy Veggie Snack Wrap. Featuring a tasty blend of veggies and hummus wrapped up in Dempster’s® Tortillas Ancient Grains 7'', they make fresh and flavourful snacking options. To keep things interesting, mix it up with a variety of ready-prepared dips, spreads and vegetables. Serves 2.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Dempster’s® Ancient Grains 7" Tortillas
  • 2 Pieces leaf lettuce
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) Hummus
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) Shredded carrot
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) Thinly sliced cucumber
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) Sliced roasted red peppers, drained on paper towel

DIRECTIONS

  1. PLACE a piece of lettuce in the center of each tortilla.
  2. TOP lettuce with hummus, carrot, cucumber and roasted red peppers. Fold in one edge of tortilla and roll up to serve.

Tip: Try using other ready prepared dips/spreads and different vegetables for a completely new flavor profile.
