Apricot-Brie and Toasted Pecan Sandwich

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 Slices Dempster’s® 100% Whole Grains 12 Grain Bread
  • 3 tbsp (45 mL) Apricot jam
  • 3 oz (87 mL) Brie cheese
  • 3 tbsp (45 mL) Chopped toasted pecans
  • 3 tbsp (45 mL) Butter

DIRECTIONS

  1. HEAT a non-stick pan over medium heat. Spread two slices of bread with apricot jam. Divide the cheese between the two sandwiches, top with toasted pecans. Place the second slice of bread on top.
  2. Butter the outside of the sandwich and grill for 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
