Prosciutto, Arugula and Fig Toast is a quick snack with decadent flavour. Featuring Dempster’s® 100% Whole Grains 12 Grain Bread, fig jam, savoury prosciutto and fresh arugula, this toast recipe also works as a savoury mid-day meal or crowd-pleasing appetizer. Top it with a sprinkle of goat cheese to take the taste to the next level. Serves four.
INGREDIENTS
- 4 slices Dempster's® 100% Whole Grains 12 Grain Bread, toasted
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) fig jam
- 1 cup (250 mL) baby arugula
- 8 slices thinly sliced prosciutto
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) finely crumbled goat cheese (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Spread jam evenly over each slice of toast.
- Top with arugula and prosciutto.
- Sprinkle with goat cheese (if using).
